the google link at the top of my gmail for this entire morning has been “top 10 reasons not to sleep with him.” seriously google, i love you and everything, and i know you read my email, but when i want your advice i’ll ask for it.

They do parse people’s emails for keywords for targeted ads. Technically it would be possible to include words and phrases commonly used by women in emails to their girlfriends about the new guy.
I wonder what the male corollary would be. Condom ads?
